英文摘要 | In the beginning of 2020, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has rapidly swept through the globe, and many schools worldwide have closed. Although Taiwan has kept schools open, but the COVID-19 still has disrupted the daily lives of schools in Taiwan. There were controversies over various operational issues in connection to school activities during this period, educators had to rethink how the coronavirus outbreak is affecting our professional lives. As a frontline teacher, this article focuses on two themes that reflected from my on-site observations during COVID-19 pandemic: (1) online make-up classes drills; (2) the curriculum content adjustment after COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, I call on more front-line teachers to share their educational stories on their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. |
