A Study of Kulturpadagogik

文化教育學思想可說是德國「改革教育運動」的一種形態。這種運動在十九世紀末萌芽,在二十世紀初達成高?,是德國教育史上一大事件。它所牽涉到的範圍相當廣泛,包括社會教育、婦女教育、青少年教育、兒童中心教育、鄉材教育、藝術教育、勞作教育、宗教教育、公民教育、統一學校、學校改革、國民教育等等方面的各種改革運動。這些運動是針對著當時的社會、政治、特別是教育的問題與需要而產生出來的。文化教育學家,一方面尤其是受到德國觀念論及生命哲學的影響,同時繼承「古典教育學者」(註一)與新人文主義的思想傳統,另一方面熱烈檢討與批評當時教育的現實與問題,而發展其獨特的思想。

In this article the writer pursues the main train of thought of Kulturpadagogik, which is one of the important contemporary education movements in Germany. It is devoted to the discussion of four significant thinkers, namely, H. Nohl, Ed. Spranger, Th. Litt and G. Kerschensteiner. The writer examines heir common problems in terms of interrelationship and attempts to lay bare what they share and diverge in.
