The Impact of Television on the Child Education in Republic of China

電視是廿世紀科學發明的重要產物,集視聽之娛,兼廣播、電影、報刊之美,超越時空,無遠弗屆,進入每一社會階層,每一個角落,成為最具有說服力和影響力的大?傳播工具。電視改變了傳統知識傳播方式,使人類知識、思想達到最廣泛的傳播。在這知識爆發而教育已進入大?化的時代。傳統的教育只能擔負部份的功能,另一部份的功能必須由大?傳播媒體分擔。今天世界上大多數的國家,利用廣播電視,作為普及教育,提高人民知識水準,促進國家現代化的工具。電視遂成為有效的教育媒體,在教育發展過程中擔任日益重要的角色。今後如何有效利用電視,加速知識的傳播,促進電視教育功能的發揮,藉以彌補學校教育之不足,為各國教育建設的主要課題。

Due to its popularity and attraction, television has enriched the experiences of children. Thus the family and the school can no more monopoly children's social learning, cognitive development, etc., and mass media is now playing a much more important role in these fields.
